Prayer.

I’m so blessed to have many friends and family that have taken a moment in their life to pray for me. Prayer is a powerful thing. Who can explain it? I suppose there are a countless number of books and papers on the subject… I think I have several of them on my bookshelf. However, I believe at the heart of it all, it is simple…. Childlike.

Last night our church graduated several students from “boot camp.” One of the things they were taught was the power of prayer. So, upon graduation, they all received their first assignment. Pray for the missionaries… Hannah and I.

As the children lead and adults followed, my camera was snatched from me and my good friend, Brad, took this photo.

I’m so thankful for the kids who stepped up and went to Christ on our behalf.

I’m very proud of my son, Caleb, who is right there in the front with hands laid on Hannah and myself. This was truly a happy father moment.

So to all of you who are lifting Hannah and I up in prayer, thank you. We have felt a peace that passes all understanding and a peace beyond all doubt.

peace.
